Build a US evidence matrix before the sample
- Identify the exact AC or DC product, connector, electrical service and installation environment.
- Ask the local code and project team which safety listing or NRTL evidence is required for that equipment.
- For Wi-Fi, cellular, Bluetooth or other RF functions, define the FCC equipment-authorization path and responsible party.
- Map labels, manuals, accessibility, metering, payment and network obligations to the target state and use case.
