Project-fit checks for the 11kW and 22kW wallbox
A 22kW EV wallbox is suited to commercial projects that have the required three-phase supply and need Type 2 charging for workplaces, hotels, apartment parking, fleets or distributor programs. Confirm whether the selected model needs WLAN, mobile-network, Bluetooth, OCPP, RFID, app or load management, and verify all document claims for the quoted model and project.
Project boundary notes
A 22kW nameplate does not prove that every vehicle will take 22kW AC. Compare the target fleet's onboard-charger limit with the available three-phase supply, protective-device design and permitted site demand before fixing the wallbox rating.
For multi-bay commercial parking, record the number of connectors that may run together, the building peak limit and the rule for sharing capacity. If turnover is too short for AC charging, compare a DC option rather than increasing the AC nameplate alone.
Freeze the Type 2 cable or socket, RFID or app journey, OCPP or CSMS responsibility, network method, pedestal accessories, labels, firmware and repeat-order version before approving a commercial sample.
Available power
Confirm three-phase input, site power limit, parking duration and whether 11kW or 22kW is the better fit.
Installation choice
Define wall or pedestal mounting, socket or cable preference and local connector requirements.
Smart functions
List OCPP, network, RFID, app and load-management functions required from the exact model.
OEM and approval
Confirm branding, labels, packaging, manual, quantity and destination-market evidence per model/project.

| Category | AC Charger |
|---|---|
| Power / Capacity | 11kW / 22kW |
| Connector / Interface | Type 2 |
| Documentation Scope | Compliance files and applicable standards are confirmed by exact model, configuration and destination market. |
| Evaluation Order | Availability and quantity are confirmed in the current quotation. |
| OEM Terms | Branding scope, MOQ, tooling and approval process are confirmed by model and project. |
| Destination-Market Review | Applicable standards, labels and document package are confirmed before order approval. |
For an 11kW/22kW commercial program, freeze the Type 2 cable or socket, wall or pedestal format, user-access method, backend settings, branding, labels, packaging and manual language for the selected base model.
Send the three-phase grid input, available site current, vehicle onboard-charger limits, number of bays, concurrent-load rule, target country and expected quantity for model review.
For a faster 22kW RFQ, include three-phase voltage and current, vehicle mix, number of bays, dwell time, OCPP or access workflow, load-management requirement, quantity and destination-market document requirements.
SF-EA-22kW: 22kW EV charger specifications for site selection
The SF-EA-22kW uses a 380VAC input and 3P+N+PE supply arrangement. Its compact enclosure does not remove the need to check available site current and vehicle AC charging capability. These values identify the SF-EA-22kW configuration; other models and options require their own selection.
| Model | SF-EA-22kW |
|---|---|
| Input voltage / current | 380VAC ±15% / 32A |
| Supply arrangement | 3P+N+PE |
| Dimensions, H × W × D | 300 × 315 × 120mm |
| Display / housing material | 4.3-inch LCD / PC+ASA |
| User access | RFID |
| Network configuration | 4G/LAN; confirm the required network and operator workflow |
| OCPP | OCPP 1.6J optional; include backend acceptance in the selected scope |
| Ingress protection | IP54 |
| Operating environment | −20°C to 50°C; ≤95%RH, non-condensing; altitude <2000m |
| Installation formats | Wall-mounted / pedestal; confirm accessories and cable arrangement |
Do the 11kW and 22kW models have the same electrical requirements?
No. The SF-EA-11kW and SF-EA-22kW share the listed 300 × 315 × 120mm enclosure dimensions, but their listed input currents are 16A and 32A respectively. Both list 380VAC ±15% and 3P+N+PE. Compare the 11kW EV charger configuration if that power class better matches the site and vehicle mix; appearance alone is not an electrical selection criterion.
Request an SF-EA-22kW quotation and model-specific files with your site supply, number of bays, expected simultaneous use and target country. Installation and compliance documents can be reviewed privately for the selected configuration.
Choose a 22kW EV charger only when the site and vehicle can use it
The commercial decision is not simply 11kW versus 22kW. Buyers must check the supply, onboard charger, parking turnover and simultaneous-bay plan together.
| Buyer check | 11kW planning path | 22kW planning path |
|---|---|---|
| Parking duty | Longer workplace, apartment and overnight sessions. | Higher-turnover destination or commercial parking where vehicles can accept the higher AC rate. |
| Electrical review | Confirm phase, current and total charger count. | Confirm three-phase capacity, diversity, cable runs and whether managed load is required. |
| Vehicle limit | Check that the fleet or visitor mix can use 11kW. | Do not assume every vehicle will accept 22kW AC; request the onboard-charger profile. |
| Operating scope | Private, RFID, app or OCPP access as required. | Add load balancing, user allocation, pedestal/cable management and backend acceptance when the site has multiple bays. |
Send one site schedule with the RFQ
List vehicle arrival time, expected departure time, daily energy need and number of simultaneous charging bays. This gives the supplier enough context to discuss a 22kW wallbox mix without turning a product label into an unsupported charging-time promise.
For an 11kW-only OCPP project, review the 11kW EV charger page. If AC does not fit your charging window, compare the 60–180kW DC fast charger requirements before choosing a different power class.
Review the Level 2 electrical planning checklist →Questions to settle before quotation
Will every vehicle receive 22kW from a 22kW wallbox?
No. The vehicle onboard AC charger and site power limit can reduce the actual rate. Confirm vehicle capability and three-phase capacity.
Should a commercial site use sockets or tethered cables?
Sockets can simplify cable replacement and support user cables, while tethered units can improve convenience. The choice depends on operator policy, connector market and maintenance plan.
How should multiple 22kW chargers share site power?
Start with the power available for charging after the building's other loads, then list how many vehicles may charge at the same time. Include their parking duration and energy needs in the project brief. Tell us whether you require fixed current limits or a managed-load arrangement so the charger configuration, controls and backend responsibilities can be reviewed together.
